NetJets is Hiring an Aircraft Fueler (NJUS) Near Columbus, OH

Purpose of Position

Is a fueler, who as a working member of a group, is charged with the responsibility of leading, directing, conducting on-the-job training, approving the work of his assigned group.

Performs their duties in accordance with applicable sections of the:

  • NetJets Aviation Inc. 14 CFR 135 General Maintenance Manual.
  • NetJets Sales Inc. 14 CFR 145 Repair Station and Quality Control Manual.
  • NetJets Sales Inc. Repair Station Training Program Manual.
  • NetJets Services Inc. Policy Manual.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Fuels all Company aircraft. As required, contacts flight crews to obtain fuel loads and other aircraft service needs.
  • Tows, wing walks, parks, and chocks Company aircraft.
  • Responsible for Leading & Directing, conducting on-the-job training, and approving the work of her / his assigned crew.
  • Inspects, fuels, and performs minor preventative maintenance and repair of vehicles and ground support equipment. Reports known mechanical, operational or safety problems on Company ground support equipment and vehicles.
  • Performs deicing of aircraft in accordance applicable sections of the Repair Station Procedures Manual.
  • Services oxygen, nitrogen and oil carts.
  • Processes the appropriate company fuel sheets and customer credit cards. Documents work accomplished through required records, electronic and manual. Responsible for the completion of paperwork and reports in connection with normally assigned duties.
  • Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established Company safety rules and OSHA regulations.
  • Ensures the ramp areas are clean and clear of obstructions. Performs all other assigned duties customarily performed within the Fueler duties.

  • Has experience in aviation fueling and/or related field of work.
  • Is able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
  • Has basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in variable weather and environmental conditions.
  • Ability to work in a comfortable environment with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise and fumes.
  • Must be able to work up to (60) feet above ground from various ground support equipment deicing empennage and fuselage sections of aircraft.
  • Ability, for intermittent periods, to perform continuous physical exertion such as standing, walking, stooping, climbing, and lifting material, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
  • Remain in compliance with the driving record requirements outlined in the Vehicle Safety Program.
